Tap dancing is an exciting form of dance that has been practised and performed for many centuries in which dancers wear special shoes equipped with metal ‘taps’. Tap dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats.

Dance attire to be worn in tap classes can include crop tops, singlets, bike pants and leggings. Tap shoes must be worn; tan for juniors and black for intermediates and seniors. (DTTA) students must have both black and tan shoes.
